What is this? Another *gasp* submittion from me?Here's 's character, Tanake Trang and her twin brother Sedaris who are both Jedi's!

I knoooow! One (of 3 total including me) production artists are out on maternity leave so we're swamped! Plus, I've got 2 major commissions so finding time to get on DA is a pain in the butt!

i love the clean lines and colors, her hair is fantastic.

I really like how your have the woman's hair breaking the boarder but It is really distracting I think that maybe if you had the man's hair at the top also breaking that boarder it would help even everything out and let the viewer's eye move around the piece. ^_^ I really like your skin tones though and your noses are really nice too. X.x i'm always really bad with noses if I could just draw people without noses I would be ten times happier lol ^_^ but anyway I also kind of wish that I could see some more highlights in the hair but if not showing the highlights were a constant say in the graphic novel these characters might be invovled in or the story I really wouldn't mind. ^_^ Nice job though keep up the good work sorry that my comment is so long I am very wordy today.

No problem. This was actually a commission so the characters aren't my own at all.
As for the overall piece, normally I'm all about adding subtle things such as high lights but since I work full-time (plus overtime since we're down an artist at work) this was the most I could do with out "forcing" it (which shows and makes the piece look cruddy). I always like having only 1 thing "poke" out of a border...it's kinda my thing. :3

oh alright so it's like a little thing that you do about your pieces that's nice and I completly understand the worka nd over time have one full time job and getting ready to get a part time job for summer need to get somemoney in my pocket to pay off some things before school starts back

Really? i was worried about that I was thinking about drawing comics and manga as my full time job but I was worried about coming home and not wanting to do it anymore so instead I'm wanting to make Fine arts my job and keep comics and things as a fun hobby.

Normally it's fine (since I mainly do logos are work) but I work so many hours that when I get home I don't want to do ANYTHING...plus I'm VERY lazy.

It's so busy at work that I never have time to draw! Plus, in this economy you don't want to give them a reason to fire you so we always have to have projects to keep us on our toes. XD

True True all of that is true but I work as a parking attendant and when you don't have any customers there is only so much cleaning you can do so they let me draw and work on my art projects as long as it doesn't hinder my performance for the customers which it never does. Do you enjoy the work?

My work is ok...I've heard of worse jobs that's for sure! I can't really be creative since mainly it's only whatever the customer wants.

that's great I was worried about a few of my friends in graphic design because you are designing more for others rather than yourself. ^_^ I'm glad that you get to do stuff on the side I really like a lot of your work though.

Mind you...it's what makes it so that I never draw for myself. That's why I'm not as active on here as I used to be. After working 8+ hours a day at work, then another 2-4 hours a night on freelance the idea of drawing for fun is completely gone.
