you can but that requires having a whole set of brushes. I don't use textured brushes really. Thy just vary a lot by opacity, hardness, flow.. And that's pretty much it. I'd advise getting Easy Paint Tool Sai. It's japanese, in english, cheap and awesome
Well, this maestro paints in photoshop ~Jace-Wallace so yes, I suppose it IS possible to paint even better in PS. I just never actually liked it for painting..
