Breed: Igarion
Class: Mammal, skeleton-tailed felines, capable of human transformation
Sex: (beta) Male
Male/Female ratio: 30% (beta) Males, 70% Females
Sex differences: Males have manes. Females are about the same size as beta males but have shorter and duller bone protrusions to prevent injury to the male during mating. Females also have poisonous tails. Alpha Igarions were about half a size bigger than normal Igarions.
Size: (Small elephant, the tail takes up half of their lenght)
Diet: Carnivorous
Hunting: Despite having a perfect day/night vision, Igarions hunt by smelling their prey's fear. Unless the 'fear' stops (usually with the death of their prey) they do not stop the pursuit.
Social behaviour: Solitary, but mated couples stay together for life.
Description: Igarions, due to their ability to shift into a human form, are widely used as guards for nobility. Females are preferred to males because of their less aggressive behaviour and poisonous attributes. The characteristic of zeroing on fear makes them highly dangerous if not handled correctly. Because of this, the state of Etherwas ordered all alphas and the more aggressive half of the beta male population to be put down. Reproduction is controlled, all potential alphas are to be sent to containment centers and are released after sexual maturity if they do not develop into true alphas. True alphas are killed.
