Description Imagine all the people living life in peace
You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

~John Lennon

The scarf was "modeled" (ha ha...) in 3DS Max. (What you see is the extent of my modeling skills. One rectangle, subdivided, and bent in a u-shape.) I then posed Victoria, lay her on her back, and draped the rectangle in the Poser cloth room. To make things easy, I decided which drape frame I liked best and then saved the scarf as an obj. Finally, I started a new file, posed Vicky on her feet, re-imported the scarf and moved it into place. Props, lights, and backdrop completed the scene. The dynamics were, by far, the most time-consuming part of the scene.

Rendered in Poser Pro 2012, minor postwork in Photoshop.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa... SMH - first, the sight of this blew me away, because it is simply outstanding! Then it blew me away because the title is the name of the very novel I am now working on, Flight of Fancy, which has to do with a slave, black, fancy who runs from it - thus the title, and then... if that weren't enough, as I'm typing this, I read the short verse from John Lennon... whoa...

Lol. Really, it wasn't that hard -- lighting was the hardest part, I think! Thanks for commenting, as always!

Very pretty indeed, and so imaginative! Excellent modelling and crafty posing. I've not used that cloth room yet -- still terrifies me , but working in Marvelous Designer is even more steps so maybe I should give it a try. Your fearlessness when it comes to 3D work is always amazing to me. Beautiful image!

Thanks so much for your feedback! The cloth room is not nearly as scary as the *shudder* HAIR room. Dynamic Poser hair should be illegal! As for fearless... Lol, I think cluelessly stumbling around is more accurate! But, thanks for commenting!

Very cool! And you modeled the scarf too!! Yea! Good for you hon. I'm totally impressed. You did a great job. I love all the nice folds and creases you have going with it. I must say you took a very creative approach to get your final result as well!! Way to go! See, you can do modeling work just fine. I really like the flow of this image. It has such a nice abstract feel to it how the scarf flows thru the window frame and how you have all the little butterflies gliding gently about. It's very peaceful and relaxing. Love the color palette you have selected as well. Nice natural tones. What a great and creative image you have achieved here! Just love it sweetie! And I'm so excited you are dipping your toes in the modeling waters as well! whoo hoo!

Really, "modeled" is a bit of an overstatement. It's a subdivided rectangle. Bent in a U. Lol. But it was fun to fiddle in the cloth room. When it WORKS, I get amazing results. The rest just... happened. No thought, just instinct. It's been rough for me lately trying to coax my muse back into service. She made a rare appearance on this one!

And... I LOVE the clapping bunny!!

Aww, but you did model it though! hehe yay! I wish they would work a bit more on the cloth room! It has some awesome potential! weeee!

Before I draped it in the cloth room, it was literally a poorly-bent rectangle, lol. Poser did the hard work on this one! But thank you anyway. I had the vision, but it took a while to get it rendered!

Thanks for commenting!
