I finally finished this! This is a Umineko no Naku Koro Ni fanart of 1998!Ange holding 1986!Ange's hand. In the back is a fading image of Battler holding Ange's hand. It's almost like a mirror image or more accurately, a juxtaposition.

This started off as a doodle (which was over a year old) and 1998!Ange was only there. In school uniform. Holding grimoire. Oh, and the file was named UminekoSpam.psd but uh.. I never got around to doodling more in it. One day, a few weeks ago, I decided to open it and clean it. I liked what I saw so I tweaked around with it, added 1986!Ange, and the rest went from there. Oh, Battler and 1986!Ange was an afterthought because I had noo idea what I'm going with this fanart and by then, it looked too plain/empty so I included the two.

In the end.. I still don't have a clear idea except for this reflection: throughout the novels I read so far (which is 7/8 still unfortunately lol), I felt bad for Ange since for many years, she has to hold her own hand when she misses her big brother holding hers.

edit: ahh I forgot the rest of the details on tiny Ange's back ;;. I'll fix that later. I'm so sorry. ;A; Probably in my sleepiness when I first submitted this, I thought it looked finished. Fixed.
edit2: lool I realized that the last time I drew Battler.. it was also from his back and was also added as an afterthought. lool.
edit3: Oh LOL.. I forgot I could have taken the chance to fix the emblem on tiny Ange's sock.. Anyway.. it was there! But it totally faded when I shrunk the file to web-friendly size lmao.
