You really should credit Pomodoro for the sculpture,in the title or at least right after it.

I just looked up the legal aspects of this and (at least in the U.S.) since your work is a "derivative" work (in the legal definition) you are NOT obligated in any way to credit Pomodoro. I stand corrected and apologize if I sounded snarky.
It is however still good etiquette to do as you've done and at least mention who made that sculpture.It benefits the young who may be unfamiliar with his work and seek to investigate further online.Thank you for being so conscientious.Those of us that have been making art professionally for years need to lead the way and educate by example...

That sphere reminds me of a piece of art that was being displayed on the main lawn of the Sistine Chapel a couple months ago. It was very beautiful.
