Description This was a practice for me on coloring. I've been rusty coloring and not doing much lately. Frustration with school and bullshit at work, but here it is. I have been meaning to do this for a long time. I love Vest for putting out these nice flats and the artists for allowing others to practice and learn from them.

Awesome work on this one! And I must say I do not agree with Duelmask, The colors you selected are all perfect, one color is just an off shade of the next, giveing th picture a nice black and orange color theme which does more for the picture than a wide pallete of colors ever could. I instantly noticed you worked with some risky colors to gain an awesome effect in the skin tone without going too far with highlightss, which can cause the painting to out shine the lines. Honestly, you really read this picture perfectly. I really freekin love this one. Outstanding.

I commend you for the challenge you took on with this image, but you could have done a lot more. There are a lot of intricate details on the character, details that would have stood out nicely with significant highlighting. The amount of lighting looks the same all over, which despite the shading gives it an overall flat feel. It looks like the original drawing is carrying all the weight and the colors aren't adding much to it.
