It's scary right, personally it gave me nightmares a week after!

There's a continuum of function in the hatching, with hatching that defines the form on the one end to hatching that defies the form on the other. That ends up being very expressive, giving the impression this subject is seething with angry inner conflicts.

That was actually a new thing I was trying out, I wanted to be more expressive and treat the form more rude so the hatching itself would give an expression to the drawing even if the model was looking calm!
Anyways, thanks for the comment, very observant of you (you technique is actually very different than mine, anyway glad you like it, you have awesome stuff)

Awesome drawing , I really like the shading and the texture created a little more on the technical side I feel as if there is a division in the drawing which could be problematic between the left and right face which i believe is due to the shading not blending into the left hand side of the drawing. Overall great drawing I hope my criticism did not come on to harsh.

Yeap you are actually right but that is also because my camera is a bit bad and it couldn't capture the how thing correctly, anyway, thanks for the critic I admit that you are right and that the drawing itself isn't very good the only reason I like it is because it has a very different style of my usual work, but the drawing itself sucks I was trying to experiment with it a little and it actually worked but the drawing suffered a lot from that.... Anyways thanks for the comment it's always a pleasure to discus your works with other artists!

Actually, I find it really good it really leaves a lasting and strong impression one of the positives I forgot to mention. I just try to find something which could be worked because I know from personal experience it is tons better than praise.

Yeah I know, but to be completely honest it's interesting but not good
That's the bottom line, anyways thank you for the comment appreciate it, I also saw your gallery and to be honest when I was that young I couldn't draw that well, so you like have the upper hand here, keep on working and that is it!

Thanks, I always thought I was behind. You keep on working too, seeing your gallery you are really talented as you manage to maintain balance between technical skill and coming up with different ideas.

Beautiful peace of art. I love the mix of curved and straight lines. It is soft and hard at the same time.

Absolutely love the way vertical lines run across the form top-bottom, gives the portrait a more dramatic expression. Alongside folds on the forehead and half-closed eyes creates a feeling of tension. Well done.

P.S.> I think you should check your construction, especially the ear part. A little piece of advice - establish the big masses first, then proceed to refine. I get f@$ked up with it all the time myself. Good luck.
