This looks really nice. I thought for a moment that they were holding the sword behind the legs somehow. The beggining of the blade kinda looked like part of the clothes at first sight.

It's okay. Assuming that the blade is a reflecting surface the color would be simiar to the pants on that part, so it's normal for it to blend in I think.
