This costume was so last-minute it baffles me that it even happened lol. I've been a fan of Cowboy Bebop for a good while, but never thought to cosplay from it until recently. For the record, Faye is my absolute favorite Bebop lady and I am forever fangirling over Katie's cosplay of her. I didn't have time to make something from scratch with grad school, so the idea to cosplay Julia came from a joke-text to Katie Cosplays that I could probably find all of Julia ready-to-wear at an adult store to accompany her Faye. So after the shoes and catsuit were landed, there was really no excuse not to finish lol. I made the "metal" accessories out of epoxy sculpt on the 8 hr ride up to Atlanta for MomoCon, using bottled water to smooth out fingerprints. I painted the accessories in the hotel room and hot-glued myself into well... everything.

What's funny is that I have never ever hot-glued myself into a cosplay hood-style until after received pretty much all of the awards I have now. LOL NO TAKE-BACKS!!!!
