A piece I did specially for a non-dA friend of mines that I just had to post here.The models are named Vandisa (white) and Demona (black), background and postwork done in Photoshop CS.

SO what's their relationship to each other? rivals, enemies, sisters? and I take it they have powers over light and darkenss, or is thet more poetic than literal?

Vandisa represents light, justice and creativity. A true heroine in every sense of the word. Demona represents contempt, deceit and discord. As opponents, they're destined to be in constant combat with each other, but as they're both two separate ends of the same outcome, can they truly destroy one another?
That's of course what makes their complex coexistence so interesting.

Ah yes, can't live with them, can't live without them... so we know how they grapple on an idealogical level, what about a personal or emotional? I think it'd be interesting if they were once friends or something closer, but were driven apart by their conflicting nature...
