Yes, the Zoo had two Siberian Tigers (a male and female pair), and odd enough they died within a month of one another.

I think they know that, as zookeepers, they sometimes will have bad days, but even then it must be hard to lose such a magnificent animal - especially as Yessie's mate passed away only last month.

Thank you! Β I did spend quite a while at the tiger enclosure for this shot - most of the time, they were sleeping, but just as I was about to give up, this boy decided to move around a bit... :3
