In the "Modern day"many mononoke have forgotten they're form , they do not poses a definite form anymore , but they exist and posed different kind of people in they're time of despair .As we know many people are committing suicide or kill others for no real motives and without thinking clearly. Many people are greedy and obsessed over material things , and hurt the innocent because of these.
Our medicine seller , as he seed in the last episode of Mononoke , no matter where and no matter when , as long as mononoke exists he will be there to eliminate them .
And as we know as long as darkness exists in the heart of a human , the mononoke won't disappear , so the medicine seller seeks them and kills them .
Kusuriuri's costume is a little bit different , because the times have changed , and people do not wear the traditional Japanese clothings that much these days.

The truth is that the mononoke number is so big that he alone can't kill them all , he kills them in a place , and other appear somewhere else , we always have seen him alone , it would be nice if he could have someone to help him with his hard , almost impossible job , of eliminating all the mononoke .

hmmm i wonder what else to write about him and the modern days , coz nothing in particular comes to my mind ... i mean even if we evolve in technology , we do not really change , so the humans from now and the near future , aren't that different from the ones from his time , the only visible change in these modern society is that the girls have the same rights as the boys , and of course the technology that evolved really fast in a cup of years
