I think you usually use the word manacles for monsters rather than for people, maybe because it sounds scarier.

Kankle reminds me of "candle" or kitty or handle, for some reason. Once I acidentally called her "Kitty"! But I like the name, it's very original, and I'm a bit jealous. (the name of my girl monkey character sucks.

I was planning to change the "scrunchy" to a string. Well, not a string, but it's thinner than a ribbon to tie the cloth around her neck instead (no more impossibly holding it down with nothing XD). Also remember that her body is kind of crushed. XD

Uh, ok. Well, actually there's not much Julia would say about it. Mostly, that she had to fight on Kit's side in a war to get help with finding Talis. The veil was used so enemies wouldn't try to turn her off and Kit thought it looked cute. XD
