My scanner is a pain in the butt @_@Checked the box to remove dust and such from the scan. Didnt make a difference. Since a little black spot still showed up. Cleaned this up a bit in photo shop.
Here is my finished piece of Rogue
I wanted to go further into the wrinkles and such in her clothing. But thought better of it. Since I figured I would go crazy overboard with it
I like this piece though. I love this outfit on her

I lost track of the hours. I think it was over 20 spent working on this. There was some redrawing of parts that ate up a lot of time.All in all I think it came out rather nice. I am happy with the way her outfit came out. I want to draw another piece of her. Not sure if I will yet.

This piece is both impressive and inspiring to me. I always have such trouble drawing proportions correctly, and I think hands are the hardest for me. This is a great piece with just the right amount of wrinkles in the outfit.
I love seeing work like this because it makes me want to get back to drawing myself.

I always try to convey a more cloth like feel when drawing clothes.
I dont want it to look like a second skin or something like comics nowadays seem to do. I want to show wrinkles and folds. To help convey a sense of motion with the clothes. I like drawing clothes. So I tend to put more of a effort into it
Proportions are a bit of a tricky thing. I tend to notice that I kinda exagerrate things a bit at times. Like the neck being a bit longer than normal. But that is more of a subconscious move on my part. Even though I do draw the body a tad longer than its supposed to be. Since its a personal preference for me. Balance is always good. But have fun with what your doing to

The outfit is perfect. I love it and the shading is very good. But the face is a little... I don´t know... off. Kinda simple.

Sadly yes. That was one of the constant redrawings. It game me fits trying to draw her face to the point that I was just like well if this is the best I can do for now than that is what i will go with. Been having a very off time with faces lately. I do not know why why.

hahah I feel your pain. Lately I´m having problems drawing eyes. I don´t know why but one of the always look weird. xD So I understand that "ok, I will not work more on this part because the more I do it, the worse it looks." xD

It sounds like some disease going around for artists. So we're all struggling on a certain area

Yeah, I hate when that happens to me. Specially when I´m happy with the rest of the draw but keep failing in a certain part. Well, my last draw turned out pretty good and my fav part were the eyes, so I think I fixed it. At least for now. xDD The next one will be an Anna Paquin as Rogue. I have been wanting to draw her for a long time. I´m a fanatic of her, and even more of rogue.
That´s nice. I love when pro artists help you to become better and give you advice. I always welcome it. And it really paid off on your work. Since the shading is hard for me, I admire people who make it look great.

Exactly!! I had a different Rogue piece worked out. It was the best looking drawing i've done in a while. I loved her body. The arm and the outfit. I was like "Oh this is going to be so perfect." Than I noticed the head was off. Tried to fix it. Made it all worse. To the point the entire image had to be scrapped. 
Your gallery is rather impressive I must say. Added you to my watch because of it. Your a very talented traditional artist I noticed. I look forward to all your future traditional works. And of course the rest of what you can do

I feel your pain!! I have 2 draws that were looking sooo amazing. Normally I suck at hair (too), but my real problem are eyes. It´s not that they look bad, it´s more like... I don´t know. They don´t look like the person´s ones. It sucks when you´re proud of a draw and then you fuck it for some stupid reason, right? I hate that.

And I concur. I have some trouble with hair at times to. I try to make it all nice and then its like oh...its kinda flat looking =.= I think I know what your saying about eyes. It sounds like when you draw them. There not as expressive as the person's your drawing them from.

It always amaze me when I see all those amazing charcoal or pencil draws around here with that shiny real hair. I feel soooo jealous. lol. And the eyes, well, they´re the most important part for me. You can do a so-so work in the rest and it will still be good, but if you do a bad work with the eyes it sucks.

Their amazing! Since charcoal is difficult to use and a bit messy. So I admire those who can use it. And I understand. I have trouble with the shiny real hair to. Hair is so difficult to get nice looking. It leaves me frustrated honestly

Same here. Charcoal and watercolors. I´m messy even with a simple pencil, it will be scary if I use something of that. A DA girl who I admire tried to make me use charcoal, but... xD nop! Hair is hell for me.

It takes time for me to clean up a image. And I dont know how I could clean up charcoal XD So I would probably devestate the entire image. Till the whole paper came out black lol. I dont know how to paint. I am considering trying to learn.
