Ah, this is beautiful!

I'm so glad that you were able to finish an entry on time; this is so charming and pretty! Everything from the way you drew out the two characters to the way you drew out the background is awesome! I really love all of the little elements in this drawing; they're brought together into such a wonderful composition! There's a wonderful sense of unity in this drawing that is really amazing; it's so aesthetic! Let me start off by complimenting you on the way you drew both Tajii and Taij. The first thing that I really fell in love with her is Tajii's expression-- she looks so thoughtful, which is completely like her, what with her being a writer and all ;D The coloring on her scarf is especially gorgeous; I absolutely love how smooth the colors are on the checkers! Her hair has a beautiful gradient to it as well, and the little flower is so cute! The hand is really well done as well; great job on the fingers in particular! And her eyes are so beautiful.. they really draw you in! ;u;

Taij in the background is too adorable! He looks so dreamy and cheerful, which is completely like him as well! And then there's the background-- the way you brought in the different elements is incredible I love the different details on either 'side' of the drawing. The colorful arrows against the yellow is really awesome and I love the flowers and the stars against the darker background! Even the little music notes are so charming! And the details within all of the different objects are great as well !I love the implied textures, and the way you incorporated color to make such a great contrast in this piece! The dark night colors against the light blue colors on Tajii's side are really pretty ;D Plus, they add so much to the characters and their general color schemes as well!

I'm really, really glad you liked this. I would have to say this, good luck with the judging. I know it'll be difficult for you but thank you for creating this contest. It was an opportunity for me to draw something again.
