Description Deidara was never the chivalrous type, but things were always different around Eri, but he couldn't quite pinpoint why. . .

I finally finished my entry for 's contest! I'm so sorry for taking so long, but I hope you like the finished result.

I drew the sketch a loooong time ago, around the time that the contest was announced. So, there are some things that I wished I could've fixed, but I didn't have the time or energy to redo the drawing. I'm really satisfied with the coloring and the background, though.

Just as an update, I haven't been active or drawing for a while now because I'm currently trying to reorganize my life, in a sense. A lot has happened rather recently, and it's really hard to get my self esteem and self worth back to where it was earlier. I'm not going to be on dA so much for the time being (not that I've been on lately, anyway), but I promise that the next OIAI page will be the first thing I work on when I get my life back on track.

And I usually do deal with a lot of insensitive comments and flames, and I'm fine with that. On the other hand, I don't tolerate such comments on art I made for someone else, especially if it is a gift or art trade.

I kind of "aww'd" when I saw this. Then again, I'm already in a rather pleasant mood because I got enough sleep last night and it's my best friend's birthday and I'm listening to cheery music. But even without all that, I would've still gone "Aww".

On a slightly related note, yesterday I was trying to cosplay Deidara yesterday because it's Spirit Week at school and yesterday was "Dress Like A Celebrity". I'm gonna post the whole story this Friday in my journal.

Very nice pic! I love the facial expressions and the rain.

The only thing I don't like is that Eri looks too near the viewer in comparison to how far Deidara and the cloak look. That could just be a quirk in my perception though. I know very little about art.
