Regardless of his 2 deaths, Liu Kang is still a GREAT deal stronger than Fei Long and has beaten many of MK's most powerful fighters to prove his valor and save his realm.
Who has Fei Long beaten to prove his worth in SF...or even to be compared to Liu Kang in terms of power?
Btw, Goku has also died twice in Dragonball Z...would you dismiss him as a chump as well...?

He was only killed the first time because Shang Tsung had the help of Quan Chi, and since the MK9 Reboot altered the story that never happened. The second time Raiden accidentally Over pulsed Liu Kang causing his death.

It wasn't a fair fight, it's like saying a kud who is 3 foot 9 getting beaten by a someone who is 6 foot 7 with plenty of fighting experienc, would you call that a fair fight? Also Fei Long is nothing more than a intresting side character who hasn't done anything. Liu Kang has won one of the deadliest tournaments in fictional history. Twice.
