mmmm I like Vinyl Scratch more and use it more often, but I do say "the DJ Pon-3" every once in a while. Like in certain situations where it sounds cooler (because it's like a title XP)
example: "of course see's the best DJ in Equestria! She's freakin' DJ Pon-3!!!"

But I always thought that it was a play of "words/numbers" kind if thing where DJ Pon-3 would be said as "Dee-jay-Pon-ee" kinda like "pony" just with a "3"... :/
