"WHAT SIDE??? PLANETSIDE!!!"

Fan art for my favourite game of ALL FRIGGIN TIME! PS was the first MMO FPS and it was absolutely insane - no game has captured war on a similar scale. You've got dudes in air ships dropping onto bases, tank columns, infiltrators, dog fights... holy crap. It slowly died out though, and now virtually no one plays. But back in the day there were thousands of people in any one given fight.

Anyway, I decided to do this since SOE announced recently they are working on a PlanetSide 2. ZOMG maybe I can go join their concept team Would be a fantastic job.

This is the first piece done on my new computer. And sweet jesus, it was the BEST photoshop experience I've ever had. Absolutely no lag - not even when flipping canvas with 100 layers. Dream. Not only that, but it was my first time using CS4 - WHICH IS AWESOME. They've kinda copied painter in that you can now rotate the canvas, and the zoom is animated which is SWEET because I do that a lot. Super addicting - its like playing a video game. ZOOOM. I'm kind of reaching out, if you can tell, I'm trying to find a "style". Typically I only use the standard default hard round brush, but when you do that it always comes out looking the same. Trying to find my art.
