I know it’s probably taboo to talk about, but did anyone else own a Playstation Vita? :’DSoul Sacrifice was a REALLY good game on it tbh, and if the small screen didn't hurt my eyes as much as it does anymore, I’d def be playing it way more lmaooo
Anyway, this is my Sorceress character from it! This is actually a digital version of a drawing I did (based on an actual in-game ref, hence the outfit details lol) some odd years ago. I feel old when I say stuff like that but I mostly played it thru high school, ngl 😂
The only thing I changed from the sketch was really fixing the anatomy a bit and adding the burn scars on her right side (our left) - I really abused the one sacrificial spell thing (I forget what those are called, exactly) that burns all the skin off WAY too much in that game
Just figured it’d be a nice touch, is all.

I own a Vita, and Soul Sacrifice was why, i was playing this game a couple days ago, i still mess around in this game (the blank pages in Delta adds quite a bit to the messing around factor)

Yeee, i loved all the lore that game gave, but i haven’t actually touched my Vita in years, whoops
i read somewhere u can get Soul Sacrifice Delta and play it thru a Ps TV device (apparently they’re cheap) but that seems like a lot of work to play something on a bigger screen tbf.
but i really wanna get back into it! I never fully finished doing all the quests in the base game tbh 😅

i still play mine occasionally, messing around, occasionally changing factions (also because i'm trying to collect all of the offerings)
i'm sure they are cheap, you can also link those things to Elgato capture devices and view the footage on your computer
i wonder how much of the free DLC you've played, i got the game after the Succubus was added and used some the powerful offerings the 4 guest monsters give (Abyssal Fiend's offerings hit like freight trains if you play Avalon), i want to fully complete the Eternal Maze of Alice

Yee, i only got so far but i don’t remember how far exactly? I know i unlocked being able to fight Magusar but he was waaayyy too strong for me at that time 😅
yeah, i never thought about the elgato thing tbh - i’ve eyed them before but thought they were on the pricier side? Also I heard that the updated Vita had an HDMI output, which woulda made things much easier. I got one not long after they came out so I got the old version.
uhhh I think I downloaded a bunch of it but i don’t know if i managed to beat most of it tbf - they probably came out with more too after i stopped playing it for a while, cuz games like to do that to me 😂
i’d really have to get my hands on my vita again and check at some point to say for sure though

that's fun to do sometimes, i love the story, the story telling is amazing, i spent hours on end on this game (helps i was playing on public transportation for a job that took 2 hours to get to)
i've never heard of that model of the Vita, but i have the Vita slim
there was plenty of DLC, 4 guest monsters, the Gigas, Odin, and Eternal Maze features an Alice Monster, and 3 DLC sorcerers, a Grim Sorcerer named Kalem, a Sanctuarium one named Calixto, and an Avalon Sorcerer called The Reaper (i'm not revealing his name because spoilers), but the Reaper is one of the best Avalon Sorcerers you can have at your disposal, aggressive, fast, can last a while,

Yeah I really like how they delivered the lore and story - the whole concept of going *into* the book to get backstory while writing urself in there p much is v cool!
oh yeah the slim was the updated one so maybe i misread somewhere - mine’s the old version but tbf I didn’t think they could slim it down more than they did at the time 😅
but yeeeee aaaaaa I’ll def have to load it up once I get my hands on my stuff again - i found it again while packing after like 3 years forgetting i even had it 🙃
that and Gravity Rush were really the only games that interested me on the Vita cuz I liked the mechanics in them!

it's an amazing presentation when done right, and Soul Sacrifice did it right
i have the Slim, i broke my model one... bumping into a doorknob on a washing machine in a crowded laundromat
you might want to charge it and then load it up, i have 2 vita chargers on my desk
i have both games, but Soul Sacrifice my sole desire to get a Vita, i got it with accumulated paychecks and bought it in cash

another game that had the story book presentation was Sonic and the Secret Rings, it was decent for that presentation, Soul Sacrifice does it so much better
i got a replacement that came with Borderlands 2 on Vita for my birthday, it was a slim that came with a memory card
