Another pic of Serenity.
And she's nekid.
I plan on doing a matching one of Endymion and then painted them and selling them on ebay. So if you're interested...
But for now, about this piece.
I referenced the pose from a Utena doujinshi. The background was actually a pleasant mistake XD. I was putzing around and I took one of the sailor moon musical covers and edited out the people and the light fixtures and the text and was playing around with layers, and just as I was about to delete it, I hit the third layer above the image to a different setting on accident and was like "WAIT, THAT WORKS!"

gotta love those pleasant mistakes. It's beautiful though the hands don't quite look right. One I think it could use some light on them and not be completely in shadow, two the hands in the reference image just look funky to me too so *shrugs*. Everything else looks good and make me envious.

Thanks, yeah if i were to redo it now (6 years later) I probably wouldn't have followed the image I used as reference so much, if at all XD.

Sorry for this extra bit. Was studying the doujinshi image to figure out why the hands looked wrong. The model's right hand is fine, it's that the left wrist is bent at an angle not possible unless it's broken. It the left hand was rotated from an almost full back view to a 1/2 view or 1/4 view it'd be more realistic.
I apologize if I sound nit picky. I'm just trying to help improve it.

I bet the Utena pic came from the rose of versailles theme . That image immediately shot into my head when I saw this! XD

I like it but, if you don't mind a bit of criticism, I saw the reference and Utena is laying on something. In this picture it looks like Usagi is suspended by the roses and vines. So therefore, you wouldn't need her right hand showing. It just looks a bit out of place in the whole image and is a bit distracting.
Other than that I like the image. It looks very clean and like something from the anime.

o.o;; I like this one because of the roses, and it looks more like the actual Sailor Moon. Some of the other one's looked more like your own touch to it. That was with the eyes, and such. But I like those too. ^_^ This one just 'captivated' me considering the roses. Very pretty.
