I just want to wish everyone a safe and happy halloween/Samhain/etc.
This is my Halloween kitty OC, Punk'n. She's a pumpkin kitty. xD And she doesn't need whiskers, because she's an anime kitty. And because I'm lazy. -w- Shush.
This was just a quick doodle, intended for fun more than anything else. I love you guys.
Oh yes, pose used [link] by (I changed the position of the head, but her body's pose is based on that one.)
All of that being said... I want her hat.

How I've been... Well, real life continues to annoy the hell out of me. Also I find myself busy with things I don't want to be busy with, bleh. But I see you're busy with some interesting stuff, good luck on that novel. At least 50000 words in one month sounds scary, but knowing your abilities, I think you can handle this and do it well.

I'm sorry... It's the same here though... I've barely been able to find time to write and draw like I want to lately. It's like a constant battle that feels like I'm always losing.
I've been scaring myself, because I haven't been writing a lot and it was almost like I was losing interest for a while. I think working on this Novel challenge in only a month is just what I need to motivate myself to write again, like I used to. I haven't been exactly up to normal speed for a while.
Knowing me, it will be hard to cut it short at 50,000 words. So I'll probably end up making it longer... Later, of course.

Yeah, I see from your journals lately that life's merciless on you too.
I feel like no matter how much I want it, it just so happens that I can't get to writing, and sometimes I even don't want to, cause my mind is on other stuff. But I try not to bother too much, I see writing like something nice that I have and I can always go back to, if I have the time or feel like it. I have a fic to update and other fics to deal with, and I've intended to at least 10 times, but always something else ruins the good intentions.
And about your novel, don't bother so much with comparing to other people, just do your best. You know that thing about concentrating on the process of creation and not on worrying about the result.

My family is being more of a pain about my writing than they are supportive. But life is crazy in general. They make it as difficult as possible for me to get any writing done. The only real support system I have for anything I do are the people I know online.
You're right. I don't care if they write more, I'm actually glad for them, but it's sort of fun to try to motivate myself that way.
I have the same problem. I have stories that I've abandoned because of lacking the time and motivation I need to finish them. Something better always comes along. It's not that I don't want to, I always mean to finish the ones I start, but... I don't know. Something else always happens and then I can't.
When I think about the end of the novel, the point of it, or all the things that will happen, I get so discouraged... But I have to keep going, because if I don't write it... Well, it won't get written. And that would be heartbreaking in a way. I think it deserves to be written, no matter what the outcome.
I'm not writing Dark Mage for this, because I've been working on it for so long and I think I need more than just a month to dedicate to that one. It's sort of my baby.
