The words "female" and "Merlin" together automatically pop a name into mind for me.  Therefore, oh raptor, I dub thee "Vivian, the enchantress".

AW thank you.  I actually have two videos of some kind of small raptor similar to that chasing the massive flock of sparrows that were hiding in out shrubs when they saw it coming.  I think it is a Coopers Hawk but it could be a Merlin.  I don't know all the subtle variations of my birds of prey, but I know it is awesome to watch it when it comes.  I have seen it catch a squirrel and devour it messily on the hand rail of the neighbors side steps.
