It'll get harder to wear them in a year. But with a good maintenance they will look even better

You actually don't have to cut them out. The other way takes a while but if definitely worth it if you have the patience. I can send you a video if you'd like for the future :}

By the way, Kakyc, it makes me sad that you cut them off! You looked great with them.

I know there are a couple of super lubricating conditioners on the market for actually unlocking the dreads, but I have a bit of a special case, a lot of my hair (like 2/3) was very badly damaged by bleach before I dreaded it, so I know that I won't be keeping a good deal if it. Buut I am also not planning on shedding my dreads anytime soon.
