This is for a collab on Newgrounds where the artist is supposed to re-imagine a drawing done by an elementary schooler. Here's the original drawing I was working from:[link]
I thought it was a fun idea.
I was trying to work a little faster on this one and leave the brushwork in a bit more. I don't really love the brushes I have in the program I use, which is probably why I usually try to obliterate most of the mark making. I'm thinking I might get artrage, or just finally buy photoshop so I can join the 21st century, lol.
Still it's not TOO terrible, just kinda digitalish. :/
Also, yes Sarah, more water.

Then again, I'm extremely late to react to this image, so I’ll consider that pardoning circumstances. I actually hadn’t picked up on the digital-iness of the painting until you pointed it out, so it’s not all that bad. Also, love your rendering of water, as always.

Anyhoo, looking back on it, I think I just dislike the colors on the tail. They're truely terrible. I was a little rushed to finish though, so that's a bit of a shame.
