We were lovers, once before,
and the vast expanse of time
has marred your memory,
but I remember you.
I can forgive your amnesia,
for it has been nigh four centuries
since last we touched,
since last we kissed,
since last we were.
And now comes nigh
the time for our reunion...
Perhaps a treasure from the past
will stir your memory:
one pale gillyflower,
the scent of meadow grass and thyme,
or a stolen kiss, beneath the stars?
Soon, we will again be together,
