I've been so busy on other projects that I didn't have anything to upload this week! 
So you guys get to see a work in progress of a pic I'm finishing for my dad. 
Also to prove that I can draw realistic animals and not just cartoon styled ones. ;3 This is actually larger than whats shown here. The original is...18"x 24" I think; all done in pencil. I'll be updating this as I finish, which may take awhile. D: Just the head alone is almost 4 1/2 hours of work.

Nope. They have 13x19" ones which is normally plenty large enough, but my pic is 18x24". xD I'd end up scanning it in sections.

ahh, big drawings always take forever. my friend is doing a huge drawing of optimus prime, from transformers, thats about 22' by 24'. good look, its turning out good.

once i screwed up an art project i had been working on for 2 weeks by adding a crappy background with colored pencil. i did it the night before it was due, so i had to redo it. i decided to do a different drawing entirely, and ended up doing a close up of a bird that was 18' by 22' in four hours instead of the two weeks we were supposed to do it in. and i still got a 98 on it!

xD I know how that can be. One time, I thought I'd be cute and draw TLK styled tigers instead of finding a picture to reference from like we were suppose to. I ended up getting a 75 on the project because I didn't follow directions even though the teacher said the pic was one of most artistic in the class. xD Glad to hear yours worked out though. Most of the time rushed pics come out worst than ones that take longer. c:

You should try drawing one of the animals that go to one of those eyes you draw sometime.

I kind of told you i was planning one didn't I? Remember the little sketch you seen in my sketchbook? I'm going to put more of the animals head in the picture more than just the eye.
