Some of you might remember the old drawing of a lava dragon I did, way back in my archives.. heh.. This is much better.. nice and updated.. if not quite as graceful. Lava dragons come in lots of colors, but I just wanted to do one more in the same colors.. really the scaly armory part can vary from red to dark burnt orange down to jet black.. and the orangey flesh could get thoroughly red or even be bright fiery yellow.. and of course female horns are smaller (I think the first one I drew was a grown female.. it was pretty slender.. but possibly an adolescent male.. it had whiskers, but short ones).. so yeah. Enjoy lookin at it.. make it your wallpaper!

If this hadn't been a recent redrawing of a kind of dragon I've been drawing since I was 13, I can guarantee it'd have had more detail ^_^ I think I just wanted it simpler back then.. In fact, as it is, the lineart on these dragons takes me forever cuz of all the back scales
If I ever do a bonnacon you'll get the rich detail you desire ;D

Your drawings are pretty nice. Although, I've noticed that all the lines are really ruff, what's with that? The lineart is impressive, but it would look much better if you used a blurring tool of some sort? I think so at least.
In anycase it's pretty cool, the dragon flows well and has nice colours.

I feel precisely the opposite.. I hate blurring, I want to be able to see each individual pixel perfectly. ^_^ Of course, jpg format blurs it a bit.
In any case, you're supposed to view them on either a super hi-res monitor or way zoomed-out (or both).. in other words, not full-size.
What most people do, as far as I can tell, is do things WAY tremendously big, with the same thickness lines as mine (or thicker), then shrink the whole thing. That looks good, but when you go back to edit it later you're outta luck.. heh.
