She woke up and noticed it was dark out. Glancing over she saw Dato sleeping and smiled as she slowly sat up and looked at the bloodied bandage. Riddick and Dato had taken turns changing them as Riddick was trying to break the seal on her. Dato must of fell asleep before he got around to changing them. Kairi looked at it. It couldn't be that difficult. She started to unwrap it and soon found out that both her arms were wrapped with the same bandage and she quickly had her arms tangled behind her. She sighed at her failure and looked up quickly to the sudden movement just out of the corner of her eye. Dato was sitting there watching with a smile. Kairi blushed. " You..been watching long?" Dato slowly nodded his head still smiling.
He blushed lightly as she looked over. He wasn't sure which was cuter. The blushing when she found out that he was watching her try to take the bandage off or her trying. She half smiled back still embarrassed and still very tangled. "Help?" She squeaked in her moment of pure weakness. Dato got up and pulled the chair with him to the side of her bed. He helped her so she was sitting at the edge of the bed. He started to help with the bandage but touched the parts of the seal that Riddick hadn't figured out yet. He felt her laying her head against his shoulder. He smiled and went back to helping her but then he stopped. He sat back and looked at her in the moonlight. She looked at him confused. "..Dato? Is something wrong?" She whispered. Dato shook his head and smiled for her. He blushed and put his hand on the back of her head. She gently tugged at her bandages. Dato took a small breath and pulled her in and kissed her. He releashed it and blushed a deep red looking at her. " I love you Kairi" He felt nervous looking at her face. She blushed and smiled and leaned in kissing his lips gently. " I love you too." Dato relaxed and wrapped his arms around her happy. "Need to change your bandages now." he whispered into her ear. He felt her shiver and looked at her concerned. She laughed lightly "yeah..just. it tickled my ear" She whispered. Dato blushed and quickly went about changing the bandages.
For a while he sat in front of her as she looked at him patiently. "Kairi." He finally said after a long silence. She looked to him with a smile. " You are very beautiful" he finally managed to say as she blushed lightly. He smiled and brushed the hair out of her face. He looked to the window seeing the sun rising. He blushed and looked to her. " I'm sorry." He whispered . She hushed him by kissing him again. He smiled and gently pushed her back onto the bed and releashed from the kiss. Kairi giggled but then pointed to the door and mouthed Riddick to Dato. He quickly sat up and fixed his shirt unsure if it was messed up or not. Riddick opened the door and looked at his brother and Kairi. "...sleeping?" Dato turned quickyl to face Riddick and glanced back to Kairi. She did look asleep. " He looked back to Riddick and nodded softly with a smile. Riddick walked over and patted Dato's back and took the dirty bandages. "I'll come back later." He said in a whisper and left closing the door. As soon as the click was heard Kairi opened a eye looking at Dato. Dato smiled holding back a laugh. Kairi was silent for a while then started laughing as Dato joined her. " That.. was so funny" She laughed. Dato nodded and was catching his breathe from their little out burst.

Riddick opened the door and looked at his brother and Kairi. "...sleeping?" Dato turned quickyl to face Riddick and glanced back to Kairi. She did look asleep. " He looked back to Riddick and nodded softly with a smile. Riddick walked over and patted Dato's back and took the dirty bandages. "I'll come back later." He said in a whisper and left closing the door. As soon as the click was heard Kairi opened a eye looking at Dato. Dato smiled holding back a laugh. Kairi was silent for a while then started laughing as Dato joined her. " That.. was so funny" She laughed. Dato nodded and was catching his breathe from their little out burst.
