I know I've already shared 2 of these cats in other photos, I just wanted a picture of all the "open winged" cats I've made so far.A couple of them are going to be used in an upcoming project, the others are up on etsy: [link]

how do you make them i would eventully like to make some myself but slightly different is the clay like airdry or bake or something?

It's baked. I'm actually thinking about writing a book of tutorials on how to make them, since it's sort of complicated to just explain in one go, and took some trial and error to learn on my part. But of course anyone can try their hand at similar models. I prefer baked clays because they shrink less and are more durable. If you're looking for good free tutorials, check out the sculpey website, they've got all kinds of good recommendations and you can learn a lot of techniques there!

The open wings are much nicer! The face of the pink one and white one are cutest, and I like the detailing, like the little painted spirals inside the sculpted wing spirals, are great!

Awww, thanks, I keep trying to use all the different colors even though my stupid brain is always saying, "psst, make another purple or blue one." I like variety, sometimes I need to force the issue (speaking of which, there's no green-winged kitty in this picture! O_O ).
