This is going to be a "work in progress", meaning that when we actually get full details on all of the monsters I'll revise and change it, but for now I couldn't let that amazing, beautiful trailer for King Of The Monsters go without a big acknowledgement. It wasn't just that it was a good trailer to get the fanbase hyped, it was legitimately a beautifully made trailer. Never got so emotional watching a trailer for a kaiju movie before. It's a great time to be a fan of giant monsters, folks.

If you mean that to say that you think the human characters suck, then I have to disagree, I liked the Monarch cast for this film, for certain better than the human characters from Godzilla 2014 other than Joe Brody. If you mean that to say my art sucks....well, nothing I can do to help you there, I'm just a hobbyist fan artist, not a paid professional. Just trying my best and learning as I go.

My most anticipated movie ever!!! The trailer was fantastic. I can't believe were are going to see King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan!!! We needed to see King Ghidorah make a come back in a film of this scale. Mothra looks beautiful. But I'm more excited for and shocked that Rodan is in this movie. I never thought I'd see Rodan again or even in a film of this scale!!! He's my favorite kaiju next to Godzilla and Ghidorah!! The bit in the trailer when he fights the jets over the ocean, childhood memories came out!!

Thank you kindly, I enjoy few things more than the kaiju work. I'm with you, too, I'm always counting down the days until the next G-Film, anime films and all, but this is probably the most excited I've been since I finally got my hands on Mechagodzilla 2 waaaaay back in 2000 for the first time. It just feels like an event on the horizon, something made with the hope that it'll be the classic Star Wars of Godzilla films, but and beautiful and glorious. I won't oversell it for myself, but as a fellow Rodan lover and as someone who is all in for this Monsterverse, I just can't wait, it's like being a kid again.

It's glad to see the ultimate Dream Team back together. Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan will hopefully kick some ass. It will be a feat indeed if Godzilla vs Kong can explain how those two become allies(There's supposed to be a true victor in that film).

I find myself eating my own words a little bit with KOTM, because I was tired of Toho falling back on Ghidorah and Mothra as their best sellers rather than coming out with new fresher ideas, but in this case I have to admit I'm very excited to see the three classic kaiju getting their spotlight time in CGI for the new film, but I'm excited most of all for Rodan as it was one of my childhood favorites. It's hard to even think about Kong yet for me, the hype train is still plowing in for 2019

Trust me...I had this discussing with my art professors in college all the time. There is a massive difference between me using a photograph of a lion sitting.....and me using something like a screen cap of The Lion King.
People are just dumb

Oh yes, the movie looks gorgeous! Just a huge shift in quality and tone compared to Godzilla 2014 and Kong: Skull Island.

I never got the hate for Skull Island. It had some goofy moments but honestly it was a heap of fun, and pretty fast became my favorite solo Kong movie. But it's wonderful feeling that KOTM is in the hands of people that not only respect the material, but seem to want to make it a grand, good movie as well.

I agree. Personally, I love both the 2014 Godzilla reboot and Skull Island as well. The human cast wasn’t particularly strong but it’s the monsters you go to see and so far, WB and Legendary and Toho and so on have done a masterful job on that end. Right now, KOTM is my most anticipated movie of 2019 just behind the final Avengers movie.
