Could you tell me (or show an example) what you think is wrong with them? Like anatomy, expression or just eyebrows... anything can make a huge difference. The only problem may also be that you don't look from a female's perspective when you draw them. If you try to understand their nature while drawing, it'll show ^^
Very distinctive typical feminine features are for example soft jawline, more fragile and differently shaped hands www.csmonitor.com/var/ezflow_s⦠, plump lips and a bit of makeup (stronger line on upper eyelid) can also help.

Well I think that part of it is that I learned drawing males first so when I moved to females, I had the tendency to make them a bit bulky looking and masculine faced. I've gotten better with the anatomy of the body but I feel their face/head need a bit of work like their jaws ands eyes. Like the innocent/fragile expression is a challenge.
Yeah, I've seen that one little detail can make a huge difference. The perspective from the females' side might be it. Could be that I subconsciously think in male terms when I work on their features. Thanks for the tips ^_^ *takes notes*

Oh, I see! That will definitely be it. All I can recommend is practice from life or photos and try to remember the important features. Then try to draw it off the top of your head using the trial and error method xD
