Things started out reasonably well. Sir Goober arrived at the arena to a packed crowd. Once the arena staff removed the crowd from their wooden packing boxes, a procedure that gave Sir Goober amble time to stretch and limber up, the match began. His opponent, a viscous, amorphous puddle of dirt and dank water, had apparently worked his way up the ranks, earning the moniker, The Deuce. His go-to move was to split in two and attack from both directions, hence the name. Sir Goober had also earned a nickname, The Clanger. It was easy to remember because it was the exact sound his armor made whenever he landed, which he did, often.
But Sir Goober never got a chance to impress his three fans with his trademark sound effects. For just as the match started, his opponent feigned a debilitating "eye complaint" and called a time out. Sir Goober was not fooled. Convinced that his opponent was employing one of the oldest mud wrestling strategies in history, Sir Goober ignored the pause and launched himself at The Deuce. However, the mud monster was not faking. A passing fly, drawn by the Deuce's fragrant stank, had inadvertently gotten stuck in what one can only assume was an eye socket. So The Deuce was completely unprepared for Sir Goober's opening salvo, and as such suffered a career ending injury to his...ooze?
For this flagrant violation of the sacred tenants of the World Mud Wrestling Federation, Sir Goober was stripped of his title and sentence to death.

So this one is quite late, but I wanted to get it posted before bed. It's got some problems. The executioner for one is a little bit messed up, but I liked how Sir Goober turned out and I'm glad I challenged myself with the upshot perspective despite the issues. Plus the concept was interesting to play around with.
