Description
This started out as just a random sketch and he was so cute I had to finish him off. When I was done I couldn't get the Lewis Carroll poem "Jabberwocky" out of my head, so that's what I'm going with. My interpretation of the fearsome beast. I think an older version will have the wings indicated in the poem.“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!”

So cute, not fearsome at all xD maybe he's the jabberwock's teenage son that doesn't want all the other creatures to fear him or to attack people? He just wants to be friends and live a nice peaceful life.

Yeah, I know, totally as fearsome as a Chihuahua.
I think it is probably a little younger than a teenager but you're right, I was sort of going with the classic young monster who just wants to be friends but people are totally scared of him angle.
I might do some story work with him a little on down the track. He has a bit more personality that a few of the other designs I have been working on, so I think there is something worth developing.

An unlikely pair if there ever was one. I don't know why but I am picturing the personality of the funky chicken at bit like that surfing chicken in Surf's Up. I'll have to play around with it.
