You might not believe this but this is my first ever attempt at using oil pastels!! Im gonna need more of these because I LOVED that. These are just some old leftovers from my grandmas art class over 20 years ago so Im surprised how well they performed considering their age.

So a few years back I used to live in Honolulu, about a mile mauka (inland) from Waikiki. This is based on a photo I took from a spot more to the eastern end of Waikiki, looking towards Kaka'ako. (real locals probably even recognize the spot!)

I might have to make a new folder for oil pastels soon because I reeeeally enjoyed that....
