I sold prints of my photos at Folk life in 2009 and saw this guy passing by in the crowd, the kitten was just too cute and I just had to take a picture. I chased him down a ways and finally caught up to him. When I finally asked him for a photo he was very nice and patient while I set my settings. When I took his photo I only took one, and it was overexposed but I'm so glad I got this.Moral of the story, take more than one shot while you can.

I know that the technique is somewhat lacking, and the overexposure is the biggest flaw to me. I only took one shot and I also wish I had focused more on his face than on the hat. I know what you mean about the lighting also, it could use an ajustment.

i realy like this, even though the eye is automatically taken to the guy, its drawn back to the cat by the unexpected focus shift.it might not be what you intended but i like it!and as its been said, an image tells an entire story.

This image and the story behind it are my entire life. I chased a girl down a while ago and she was so rude when I asked if I could take her photo. I wasn't so lucky, but it's awesome to see people with similar stories, and especially stories of success.
