Inuyasha continued walking down the dark path, no moon in the sky. The only light that was provided were the starts above. He squinted his human eyes, making sure not to trip or run into anything. Even as many years had passed, he still loathed being a human it made him feel weak and insignificant.

He continued on for he knew his wife was waiting for him at their hut. Finally he was able to see the village come into view as a few oil lamps were lit by the huts. He ran a now declawed hand through his midnight bangs and headed to his home.

Sure enough, once he saw his home come into view he saw his wife standing outside holding her fisted hands close to her chest.

'Idiot.' he thought, 'She's gonna catch a cold if she continues standing outside.'

Her eyes squinted in the darkness to see who had arrived and once Inuyasha came into the light she smiled as tears dabbed at her eyes. He smiled back as his beautiful wife.

She ran up to him; "Inuyasha!"

Inuyasha was able to catch her with ease as she jumped up on him, wrapping her legs around his waist. She buried her head into his shoulder as her tears wet his hairou; "I was so worried.."

"Keh, ain't nothin' to worry 'bout. It was nothin' but a small demon. Nothin' I couldn't handle." he replied, but he knew she was just worried for his sake. She was well aware when he left that once the sun fell and night came that he would lose his demonic powers and become human.

She shook her head; "Stupid. You should've taken me with you."

"And what good would that have done? Not only would I have to watch my own back, but I would have to watch out for you too. Besides, I came back in one piece."

"Don't do it again." She warned.

Inuyasha rolled his violet eyes, but smirked none the less at her tone. He loved this fearless woman that he held in his arms.

She pulled away; "You had me worried sick."

"I know, I know." his smirk lightened, turning into a smile.

Kagome placed a hand upon his cheek and slowly closed the distance between them as her lips softly pressed against his. Inuyasha eagerly returned the kiss as he held his wife close.

'If going out alone to fight a weak demon gets me this, I think I might do it more often.'

A birthday drawing to my friend. Her birthday was yesterday, so I quickly drew her something. I did this fairly quick.

It's the girl that I stayed with in Florida and she stayed here for a week. While she stayed with me, we would watch Inuyasha together and she got hooked. She really likes InuKags and loves human Inu. So I decided to draw human Inu and Kagome.

The picture in my head was set after Kagome returns to Inuyasha after three years and they are married. Inuyasha had to go somewhere to slay a demon and left his wife at home so she wouldn't get hurt. It was the night of the New Moon and Kagome was worried. He comes back and Kagome runs up to him, jumping on him and giving him a kiss.

Also I know I did a minor change to Kagome's priestess outfit because I felt like it. After I started coloring it though, I regretted putting her in priestess clothing. So much RED! But I didn't want to put her in her school uniform, I mean it's a skirt and it would ride up. Plus I planned on putting this on Facebook so my friend could see it.

The kanji says "Love" or at least it should....

All done in colored pencils aside from their skin and the white out. I used the blush trick that Renee taught me while I was in Florida with her.
