So I'm a yankee cuz I know her as Dawn? No no jkjk. I actually love that name Hikari. If I lived in Japan my kids would be named:Sakura Yumi Hikari Hinata and the boy would be Sasuke. Sure, some are from Naruto and otehr things, but I still love'em

I've lived in Japan and Korea.
But I think I'd stick with american or in my case spanish names if living in japan. That would make your child unique and plus how many american names are you honestly going to hear in a large crowd in japan? Easy to locate them.

Actually, 4Kids didn't come with the name. Cartoon Network (the new dubbers) either. It's the default name of the girl character from D/P (or your semi-rival if you chose the boy character. I think he name is Lucas or something). If you don't like it, sue the people who translated the games. :3 Now for Satoshi/Takeshi/Kasumi and more's names, THEN you may sue 4Bakas. I mean, Ash? How does Satoshi turn into Ash? >.>
