Ai has shoulder-length black hair that is usually worn in a bun and grey eyes. She wears a red brooch in her hair. She wears a modified Exorcist uniform. It consists of a black collared uniform coat with curved sleeves, black pants, and dark brown shoes. A white blouse is worn underneath the coat.

At first, Ai is presented as extremely kind and sweet. She enjoys teasing other people and calling them little boy/girl; however, she does care for them. In passing time, Ai would assist in the infirmary and tend to wounds, but was never able to develop proper communication with any patients. Because of events like this, she is stressed out and tired of keeping up with her role as an Exorcist. She fears that her occupation is making her lose sight of her original goal, finding her children, due to constant ‘Order goals’ being put up. Though she tries to go along with this, she overcomes this initial attitude to be revealed as judgemental and assertive, especially towards younger ones.

||♚ Background and Abilities ♚||

♢ History ::
Ai is from a higher middle class family in Romania, and originally lived with her father, mother, and two younger sisters. They had moved there for higher access to trading business. During her childhood, she was raised on a manor and was mainly overseen by caretakers. Her mother had set strict rules on her children and was relatively distant to her, hardly partaking in any social interaction aside from afternoon tea. Ai grew up stern and unintentionally violent towards her siblings, though this was due to parental commitment to her mother. By enforcing the rules herself, she hoped her mother would take notice, though hardly took any effect on her.
This affliction leads Ai to be ignorant of others pain and being confused when people reacted certain ways. When Ai’s parents found out about her strange behaviour, she was seen as shameful and was kept within the house for the remaining majority of her childhood. Though she was more limited to actions, Ai was glad since her mother took notice of her. During this period of time, she was also taught how to be more lady-like and appealing to others. Ai would blindly follow these lessons, providing that her parents encouraged them.

She grew older and an upper class boy, Scott, was to visit her regularly, which was done for an arranged marriage. The two were encouraged interactions in between each other in hopes that they would become a fine couple in the future. Ai would become distressed whenever the boy arrived, being that she had to create the image of her as an ideal proper woman. Her family did not want to lose such valuable inheritance and money transfer, even if Ai were to marry into her husband’s name. And so, this would become a regular duty and the days would pass rather quickly without change.

When Ai seemed of suitable age, Scott’s father came to the manor and brought her over to the suitor’s estate. There, she would be married without fuss and consequently be acknowledged as a Sadler, hardly to see her blood-related family again. At the start of this new living, Ai would become hurt and even try to run away due to fear. However, she eventually became used to living on the estate by convincing that her mother wanted this.

Shortly after the marriage, many things went downhill. Scott’s father died shortly due to a heart attack, which led to Scott taking over the heritage early on, despite already working in the military. In worry that the same could happen, Ai was advised to have children while still young. Still living under her mother’s ‘words,’ Ai followed this advice without hesitation and soon gave birth to two boys.

The remainder of time following this was quite peaceful, though Ai completely seemed to take on her mother’s state and became distanced to her children. Upon a couple of alarming events, she deemed her first son, Lucifer, as ‘something that should’ve never been born’ and mentally deemed that he wasn’t her child. She then assumed her second child, Logan, to be heir and paid more attention to him. Since her husband was often away at the armed forces, he had little control over these actions.

Following both Ai’s children being sent into military training, Ai didn’t seem to work alongside Scott very well. She attempted to file divorce in unhappiness, only to have little success. Upon this newfound frustration and extreme panic, Ai’s Innocence, a saltcellar, activated after she threw it during a fight with her husband. He was only mildly burnt by the salt Innocence, though didn’t accept it very well. There was little break, however. Not too long afterwards, a group of Exorcists then confronted Ai as being a possibly Exorcist identity herself and wanted her to go to the Order. In turn, Ai denied this to lengthy extents, until promised that she could find her children by joining. Ai agreed with this and was taken to the Black Order.

♢ Innocence Form :: Saltcellar/Salt – Ai’s equipment-type Innocence takes the form of a elaborate black-glaze saltcellar holding salt. She carries it along with a matching salt spoon in a satchel on her shoulder. When activated, it keeps the same appearance, though the salt within the saltcellar will become corrosive for the user and living beings, such as humans, Akuma, and so forth, to touch. The salt spoon’s usage is important in this case. The salt can be placed anytime beforehand and wear away through layers of skin, poison, and whatnot; though can easily be weakened upon contact with wet/rainy surfaces. Salt clumping, which usually happens if the user doesn’t prepare the Innocence well beforehand, also makes the salt null.
