Apologies if this is in the wrong category. It's just a screenshot of an avatar for the game Furcadia I'm working on. There may be another name for them, but I don't now what they're called.The avatar was modelled after my character Ghem'te, a deep sea dragon who's being used in a research facility called The Reverse Labs (A dream in Furcadia, in which research and medical story's can be played out. Dream is owned by Rachel "Boots", ingame name Rev/Katelin)

Once the avatar is completed, it may be open for pay-by-use to others, pending interest. It's in the final stages of production right now with only the NE/NW moving and the three laying positions to be completed. The NE/NW standing is nearly finished. Once I have a laying and one of the NE/NW upright finished, I'll load a better piece that previews them all.
Anyone knowledged in minor animation techniques for people without animation programs (beyond Windows Movie Maker), please contact me! I'd like to do up a mobile model for viewing purposes instead of a compiled screenshot once this is finished.

Nobody but me and that dead dream's owner should have a copy of that patch without permission from me. If you could contact me with details on where you came by getting this patch that would be great so that I can have it taken down.

Yup. You just use the fshed and create from the base-shapes therein. When you're ready to save, just save it as local#. If you have a dream package, you can have up to fifteen locals for one dream.

That is crazy good and original. I've been making avatars for a while now and I don't think anything I make could be as good as that.
As far as animating programs go, you wouldn't happen to have adobe photoshop/imageready? Thats what I use for animating and it does a pretty gosh darn good job.

Heh, thanks. I tried something before this one and wound up havin to scrap it because I majorly messed up with the shading and some other things. I do admit to using a reference of anothers avatar (The easter dragon available on Roamheart), but it was used only for the angle.
I think my tablet came with some sort of Photoshop but it was mostly for photoediting/manip, not animation. I can see if it does have something, though. *Crosses fingers

I hope its the same thing I have, its great for simple animations like emotes and blinking icons, etc. I'm not sure which tutorial I learned from, but this one seems to have all the good stuff you need for animating in it. [link] Hope it helps and I hopes you have the right program!
