i think this would have been better without the added blur? then you'd get the focus not just on the crops, but on the wide expanse that the crops are part of.

thanks for your feedback! I didn't add a blur, I used a macro lens and that's the look you get with it when you use a small aperture. The only thing I added in Photoshop was the dark vignette.
I really love this blurry macro-look, but I'm sure that's a matter of taste...
