Description
A piece of artwork I did for the flyer for Furry Connection North 2011, who have very kindly invited me as one of their Guests of Honor for next year ^.^. I'm very excited and honored, and I'm really looking forward to it! I hope to see many of you all there, too
The convention takes place April 8-10 in Novi, Michigan - and the theme for the con is "Ages of Japan" You can find all the info at: [link]
The artwork was done with micron pen and acrylic paints on 8"x10" illustration board.

on a side note to how awesome this is, it's quite a shame that if poaching and hunting of this magnificent animal for it's fur or traditional chinese medicine continues, wild tigers will be extinct by 2022 which is ironically the next year of the tiger

Now that's nifty! That theme is perfect for a story I never got published -- an anthro samurai story "Snow Before The Goddess". Will have ot see if I can submit it to the conbook. ^_^

Even though Im not a very big fan of tigers - I really like the background (especially the water) and the samurai clothes.
