It really looks like he's trying to ignore that feeling that's trying to catch his attention, to make him feel something, looking far away... That feeling is passing through him, coming out as tears, but he doesn't feel the emotion nor the tears, it's just like they are not his own...
...Or maybe, he cries because he would like to hold that emotion, to feel it... but he knows he can't. Anyway, that sadness would be an emotion too...
So wonderfully done... amazing!
