Description I'm sick of the fear I feel and
the human hate appeal
to be sick of me
and what I'm made to be.
The sickness taken granted
hurting hating never wanted
planted in my chest
by people who won't see me.
I'm sick of people treating
weaker people bleedingly.
(needlessly.  Seemingly feelingless.)

I wanna close my eyes'n
see the good that could be.
Bring an end to the greed
and set the planet to peace, for just a moment!
I'd feel no hate, there'd be no rape.
we'd see an end to all the poverty.
And the women would be treated right,
so there'd be no wonderin' about the
screamin' that you hear at night.
C'mon unify, humanity.  Unify!

Sick of seeing kids in ho's clothes
Dressing like their mommies,
Daddies beatin' babys
bruises let the world know.
Don't pretend you're unaware
when you're standin' right there
turn those two blind eyes 'cause
no way no one else cares.
You careless people act like this
you sexist racist selfish minds
It's this blind kind of mind that makes me mad
'cause you do no good and you do no bad
an' you care 'bout nothin' but the things you have.

I wanna close my eyes'n
see the good that could be.
Bring an end to the greed
and set the planet to peace, for just a moment!
I'd feel no hate, there'd be no rape.
we'd see an end to all the poverty.
And the women would be treated right,
so there'd be no wonderin' about the
screamin' that you hear at night.
C'mon unify, humanity.  Unify!

This is way too idealistic - not to me. But for the world, in general. Also, I relate with the discussion below - makes some sense.

Ho's clothes hehehe...

I dont know man, I'm not getting the full value of this rap from its written form. I think I'm going to have to hear it out loud to truely get it.

but no, I really like this, I agree with everything you said and its really good to know that someone holds the same ideals as I do. maybe not the unyielding idealism but still, same things

People could all live in harmony. It will never happen, but it could in theory and that, at least, is important, I think. Coexistance is hard to imagine but it's a nice thing to wish for. Of course maybe I am being too idealistic... but hippies can hope.

idealism is the only way I've survived this long. sense now apparently civil rights is "a matter of opinion" and Obama is having Rick Warren speak at his ignogeration. of course its all in good faith, but I really dont think that someones civil right to get married is the same thing as deciding what our taxes go too or how our energy delama should be worked at...
if we stop dreaming then there will never be change, thats the only think I've sure of.

'if we stop dreaming then there will never be change, thats the only think I've sure of.' Hey, yeah!! that's a good way to put it! I don't know much at all about politics cuz I don't follow it as much as I should. I knoww...I'm a bad citizen.

it was probably being told that you were possessed by demons because of your sins that turned you off to it all. I know being called disgusting all the time just kinda killed it for me.

Yeah...that was probly a big part of it. You were called disgusting for being gay? ....how stupid is that? It'd be really funny how stupid some people are if we didn't have to pay for their stupidity.

my family doesent know. so just general influance. that and I just dont trust a guy who says he loves everyone and then damns people to hell for being happy. illogical.
its funny how people think its completely ok to insult someone because its their "opinion" really, I dont go around saying how butt fuck ugly people are. its not cool.

wow yer family doesn't know? would they have a cow if they found out? My family would probly not care or pass it off as just another phase or something if I were gay. Just yesterday I was helping some old lady out to her car with her groceries at work when she tried to convert me. Said I was going to hell it I didn't accept jesus. Also said that
non-christian can't be righteous. This led into a 30 min. long philosophical/theological argument. I've always been overly afraid of hell. I had nightmares the night after.

nah. my family doesent really need to know. I tried telling them before but it.. dident... work...
god, the thing that pisses me off the most is that thse people think that have the RIGHT to condemn another human being. we in front of something as awesome as a god are nothing and have no right to say who is saved and who isent. we are all the same, equal and that said we have no right to choose the eternal fait of a fallow man.... and thats as prechy/religious as I'm going to get...
but who knows, they might be spouting bullshit

I've always been afraid of hell too, thats part of why those types of people bother me. because even the word faggot means a bushal of wood, to be thrown into a fire...

If god is eternally merciful and forgiving,
who does he send to hell?
If god were to send anyone to hell, it would contradict his being unconditionally forgiving.
Hell is, after all, a place supposedly created by god to torture those who would not follow him.
HUGE contradiction there.

I know. you know that little cute song that goes "jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so" this was the first thing I remember from church and I just wish religion was actually like that =/ everyone would be so much happier..

WOW I know what you mean! I remained religeous for long after I stopped going to church, just out of hope for a god that really was like an invisible friend who cared about me.
I'd be able to talk to him and he wouldn't ever let you down...you know? Not something that would punish you for not worshipping it. Instead, I like the idea of an eternal friend who loves you unconditionally. THAT would be a god that I'd want to believe in. Not the critical, all powerful master of heaven and hell that'd get you if give the church you're money. Not someone who you have to devote you're life to and have faith in blindly with no explanation.
With that said, I should really get some sleep. It's getting late and my brain is tired from all this deep thinking.

I'm always hopeful. I've found more luck in things like Buddhism and other eastern religions. after you find your way out of the monotheist stream of religion everything gets a little more chill. dude do you have a number I can call you at if I feel like inviting you to anything?

Yeah a religeon's philosophies can be really great, but the problem with any religeon is that it can be so easily perverted to one's own cause. There will always people who will use religeon as ground to persecute others or force their will onto other people. For example...I love the christian 'turn the other cheek' and 'forgive' and 'treat your neighbor as you'd like to be treated' etc. However, once these philosophies are formed into a religeon, it's like the believers are now followers and their commited to their religeon and to spread it around to the 'heathens'. Others take it a step further and become prejudiced against non-followers or use fear tactics (hell) to ensure that followers stay loyal to them. People get hurt and it's not pretty. I say, if you like the philosophies a religeon has to offer, adopt those ideas as your own to follow. You don't have to join the religeon. Keep your belief system at a philosophy rather than a religeon. At leat that's what I say.
P.S. my number is 401-2230.

I watched Dogma today and I really think that it summed up alot of what I think about religion. talking about your religion is fine, I love hearing about peoples belief systems but when it gets to the point that they warn you about the repercusions of not agreeing with them that it gets bad.

damn man I saw a movie yesterday and went to waffle house at like mid night, you could have probably come..

I'm yet to see dogma, but I've heard a lot about it and I really wanna see it. Isn't it the one with silent bob? Everybody seems to like that show, so I think i'm gonna just watch it already.
Was your movie any good? I just watched 'the day the world stood still' or something and it was pretty good. It was an environmental movie. with aliens. and keanu reeves.

man I've been wanting to see that movie, but really I've just been wanting to see movies in genarel.

it was kinda funny the movie we went to see was rated R so I couldent buy a ticket and had to sneak in but we saw a 4 year old kid coming out of the movie after us. its massed up.

hehe...I used to sneak into movies too...wait, I still do that. Of course, at the dollar theater, the employees don't care about anything, so you can usually just walk right in through the front without paying. They'll just assume you have a ticket stub or something.

I think I lost my sketch book... geez as soon as I feel inspired *rolls eyes* really if their not letting me buy a ticket at the doller theater I'm not going to feel sorry for keeping my two bucks and sneaking in. it was really funny though, once I went into the place by smiths on central and no one was even checking for tickets at the time, I just walked in! it was sad I dident actually get to stay for a movie haha
