But it looks so.
I can even imagine a situation, where people run from unexpected fire and one of them lifts the head to the sky, seeing a dragon. Somehow I get a feeling that the dragon smiles owo
It's indeed fire :3

Is it funny to think that the first time I saw the pose of this picture upon just a quick glance, the initial thought that came to mind was the traditional gliding pose of dragons in the game Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted? o_O I think it's the angle and proudly outstretched stature of the wings that gets me... Either way, rough and quick or lengthily elaborate, it matters not, because you portray beauty and magnificence in every piece all the same, no matter how abstract. Even through the simplicity of the strokes used to corroborate the forest and flames, it's needless to interpret it any other way unless in the event of a brilliant autumn midday, but the charred, ashen feel of the trees ignited in flames was depicted perfectly fine, and to have captured the fiery feel in juxtaposition with the eldritch glow of the moonlight simultaneously in a single piece really gives the picture a dynamic, clashing ambiance, the moonlight seeming like the one safe, serene element amidst the mayhem. I also adore the dragon itself, not just for the majestic, straight pose as it glides across the canopies, but also in partiality for its design that is clearly adapted for aerial purposes. In a way, it almost seems reminiscent to the Night Furies from How to Train your Dragon. The angle you captured it at is simply spectacular, and I love how the face is only abstractly constructed, albeit with enough detail to identify fundamental features that bring the picture to life, resulting in a balance of sorts that allows us to drink in the atmosphere of the picture more than needing to squint at the image to identify the details, but also for reason that it provides further definition to the moonlight that highlights its contours beautifully (Whoa, jeez, I got goosebumps as I was saying that while listening to a song. o_O Got to love how thoughts combined with a tune can really have that impact on you). Kind of like how you might be trying to conceal the dragon's identity, in a sense. ^_^ But I think what I love the most is the gentle, swirling appeal of the moonlight. It almost seems alive, like the picture might have been captured amidst a flare of light in mid-radiation from the source. Overall, a gorgeously selected palette of colours, and this picture has my utmost praise, even for just a quick piece! Keep up the awesome work!
(Augh, jeez, I didn't mean to make my comment long again. o____o' I was going to make it concise, and then.... Yeah. )
