Another practice with only markers.I am kind of mad at myself. At first when i was coloring this i was like "yes, yes, yes this is great" and when i started coloring Frank's skin i was like "crap, crap, crap what have i done!"
I ended up giving Franky a sunburn.
But now i know better.Materials: water based markers
Time: 9 hours

Yeah, I left Robin out on purpose because I don't know if she is still part of the OP crew. I'm just now getting into the episodes with Franky.
Also, I'm glad you like the bg. I'm still no good at bgs, but I'm gradualy getting better. To tell you the truth all my bgs were put in as last minute thoughts. Even this pic was originaly supose to be just Franky. All the other characters were put in as a last thought.

It takes up quite some time to do them, but i have fun drawing up the little crew members so i am definetly doing more.

I hope he becomes a perminate staple in the Straw hat crew.
The paper I did this on is 9x12. Yeah, it would seem like a pain to draw up the tiny detail of the characters, but I'm used to drawing pic with very tiny detail so it is no big deal. Besides I have a lot more patients than is probibly healthy for a person.

Just curious what size of paper do you use usually? Like for your OP decade anniversity pic or your bealtes pic.

normally i use an A4 size KENT paper. i like them because they're smooth, and copics work really well on them. the problem is, KENT paper only goes as big as B4. for the bigger piece like the decade anniv pic i used an 18x24 bristol pad. the beatles pic was not very elaborate, so that one was done on A4 kent paper.
