I like him! The red colour is fine too, it's a good shade of red, it fits!

Maybe you could change the ''roof'' to a dark grey-green-blueish colour?

Well, don't worry too much, this one looks fine too! the difference in colour could even be something that is gained upon evolving, and could help to set the evolution apart from this one, either way, looking forward to seeing how it looks!

It happens the most for me with Water types but it happens with a pretty sizable number of pure type Fakemon in general. I kind of struggle to make pure type Fakemon because of it sometimes, heh.

for me, it's water that this problem always arrise. i don't type my fakemons before they are designed... so most of the time they are pure types to begin with... just that pure type does not tell the full story of how they are designed.

Aah, I get what you mean there. Yeah, with a lot of Water types, even official ones, there look to be a large number of additional types that could work well for them, but they stay pure Water. I tend to have an issue with a lot of my Water types for similar reasons, a lot of times I've gone back later and tacked on an additional type only to change my mind a bit after.

i think the egg group of pokemon is a good 'typing' for water type, dividing them to a few different type of 'water'. but alas, game mechanics and design is different story.

Haha, so it would seem. Not that there's anything wrong with that as long as it fits!
