This piece resonates in a very personal way. As someone who travels by train quite frequently, I have come to see various people and various stages of poverty unfold on its corridors. And those two children do bring to mind the ones who take a train between stations in order to provide for their families, by begging. True, they could very well be just two random children near a railway, but there's something that places them in that context, turning them into avatars of a certain way of life that children should not have to go through. And same goes for the train and the desolate, snowy landscape, the almost monochrome look and the simple composition, they somehow bring to mind the quintessence of Romanian train travel. I do like the fact that the two of them are smiling, it completely changes the mood of the photo, making it seem that there is some hope for children of their condition.

To my great embarrassment, I must admit that the title eludes me, though. Both when it comes to the metaphor and the fact that it's written in French. But to me, that only adds a touch of mystery and out of the ordinary feeling to the photo. Wonderfully done!

(As fi scris comentariul in romana, dar dupa aia m-am gandit ca e destul de enervant sa dai de comentarii intr-o limba straina, pe orice site. In plus, poate ii va inspira pe altii sa comenteze. Se intampla destul de des
Multa bafta! )

First of all, thank you for giving it the time to write this great comment!
Second, I know that there are children that do go by train from station to station begging for their 'parents' or whatever, but I don't think it's their case, they are children, not just children, they're children belonging to a humble family that are, maybe, expecting for the daily train to pass by..you know kids ..
When I look at them I think of God, and I do hope that that idea from the Biblie, that less here, on Earth, means more, there, in Heaven..And also I think of another idea that says something like 'children will rule the emperacy of God'..or something like that, don't exactly know..And before anything, in this world we all are children of god, aren't we ? I don't know why, but I feel like God loves more these kids(I know it sounds weird 'god loves more'-it's just a feeling)..Anyway, I like picturing different realities..And show the tones of pink from people's life..Gray could be a tone of pink taken to extreme, could it?

Thank you!

(Chiar bine ca ai scris in engleza, nu m-am gandit pana acum la chestia cu limba, voi incerca sa scriu si eu de-acum doar in engleza.multumesc mult)

Will you forgive my utmost stupidity as I tell you that I read, not once but many times, "elephants" instead of "enfants"?
You are right and I do share your vision on God and His "children", as well as the fact that life and colors are relative, and sometimes gray can be a desaturated pink, just the way pink could be a tone of gray. Simply yet wonderfully put
