I wouldn't say i am super good at getting people to notice me- (best way to get noticed though it to draw what the public likes- this isn't for me as i enjoy drawing what i like far too much over that) To get noticed by a studio or employer i'd say this takes a different approach, showcase your skills and be out going (never draw the same things over and over)

For the first question  i'd say it is just a combination of things- i love soft pastel things, anything faded and in a -fog- as well as figures floating in -nothing- bg skills came from my love of wide open scenery ect ect. Character design stems from pokemon, digimon, my love of dragons and world building (my few species) i love creating characters and creatures as it is my strong suit.
